Yeah I know the title is corny. But that's why y'all love me :-)
I've been enjoying and participating in the Wool and Fiber Festival held this weekend in Ocala, sponsored by Florida Sheep. I improvised some dyeing, and also took part in a spinning class to enhance my technique. What does this mean? More lace weight, and overall more consistent yarn to be available for purchase (not just art yarn like what's been posted previously). Hurrah!
Below are some highlights:
The festival was a lot of fun. So many wonderful, creative, talented women I connected with and shared with. A true blessing!
This also means that very shortly, I can group some patterns, needles/hooks, and handspun yarn into "learn-to kits" to be sold in the store, for those wanting to get started with either craft - and all handmade, original pieces :-)
I am so very excited. Please, do share and leave a comment and tell me what you think :-)
